Care Support Details

Being registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) allows Trevanion House to cater for the needs of guests who require assistance and support with personal care and medication. Whilst support is given to all guests throughout their stay, those that require one-to-one assistance should request this at the booking stage to ensure that we can provide for their needs. Please note an additional charge will be raised for this service.

All medication received at Trevanion House for guests use, and dispensing by Trevanion House qualified staff, must be in packaged systems such as Boot's MDS, blister packs or similar systems prepared by a Pharmacist.

In addition, medication may be received in the original packaging supported by a Pharmacist's label, clearly identifying the individual concerned.

Tracey Barrett, our Registered Care Manager, ensures that all medication received is recorded and administered in accordance with current instructions. On departure the guests are given a full dispatch note to allow Primary Care Providers to check off medication given.

One-to-one personal care, including wheelchair support and assistance with bathing and dressing, is arranged at the booking stage, once a completed Care Support Form has been received by us.  A separate Care Support Agreement is forwarded prior to the visit stating the level of care to be provided and the costs involved.
